Dear Families,
We are thrilled to announce that registration for the 2024-2025 PREP (Parish Religious Education Program) year is now open! We extend a warm welcome to all of you, and we are overjoyed that you will be joining us on this spiritual journey. We look forward to working together over the coming years to bring your child closer to God and foster a meaningful relationship with Jesus.
At our PREP program, we are committed to providing a nurturing and engaging environment where children can deepen their understanding of their faith. Our classes are taught by dedicated volunteer catechists who generously offer their time and expertise to guide our young learners. Under the coordination and leadership of our program coordinator and pastor, we ensure that the teachings align with the standards set by the Office of Catechetics for the Archdiocese of Vancouver.
As we embark on this faith-filled adventure, we encourage you to actively participate in your child's spiritual growth. Your involvement, support, and guidance play a vital role in reinforcing the lessons learned during PREP sessions. Together, we can help our children develop a solid foundation in their faith that will accompany them throughout their lives.
Throughout the year, we will keep you informed about important dates, events, and opportunities for family engagement. We welcome your feedback and encourage open communication to ensure that we are providing the best possible faith-formation experience for your child.
Once again, we are delighted to have you and your child as part of our PREP community. May this upcoming year be filled with blessings, growth, and a deepening of faith for each and every one of us. We are here to support you and your child on this beautiful journey and we are excited to witness the spiritual transformation that will unfold.
Here’s how to Register:
In order to sign up for our program, you must be a registered parishioner. To register as a parishioner please complete the online form here or download the form here and drop it off at the parish office Monday to Friday from 12:30 pm to 4 pm. Or you can email it back to us at [email protected]. Once you have registered as a parishioner you can register for PREP by clicking one of the following form links.
Classes will begin on September 14, 2024, for students in Kindergarten to Grade 7.
Payments can be dropped off at the parish office Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm. Payment will also be accepted on the first day of classes. Exact amount only, payable in cash or cheque to Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Tax receipts will be provided to all registered parishioners in January 2025.
