Welcome to the Ministry of Lectors!
Our Liturgy of worship and thanksgiving nourishes us with God’s life-giving word and his life-giving body. Thus the role of lectors is very important in our celebration of faith, and understanding the nature of God’s word is central to understanding our calling to proclaim it.
Lectors share the creative, effective, dynamic, enduring Truth with our congregation. An important task, particularly in our modern world!
We welcome new members who are at least twelve years of age, and willing to commit to regularly scheduled participation. Training is provided as well as mentorship for those interested in improving their skills in connecting our congregation with God’s word.
