We announce with great joy the arrival of two priests to our community: Father Adilso Balen, CS, from Brazil, who has been appointed as the new Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima, Portuguese Parish. He will arrive this month, and Father Abraham Lopez, CS, from Mexico, who has been appointed as assistant Pastor. He will arrive in August. I have been transferred to St. Ann’s Parish in Abbottford to serve that community.
I want to take this opportunity to express my most sincere gratitude to the entire community, to all the groups, and to every person who walked beside me and collaborated with me during the time I spent in this Portuguese Community. I carry with me the friendship, the love, the learning, and the experiences we shared.
Thank you all for the support, the trust, and the moments we lived together. May God, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, bless you and keep you always united in faith, in love, in service, and in hope. I carry each one of you, without distinction, in my heart.

Anunciamos com grande alegria a chegada de dois sacerdotes à nossa comunidade: o Padre Adilso Balen, CS, do Brasil, que foi nomeado novo pároco de Nossa Senhora de Fátima, Paróquia Portuguesa. Chegará ainda este mês e também damos as boas‑vindas ao Padre Abraham Lopez, CS, do México, que foi nomeado vigário paroquial. A sua chegada está prevista para agosto. Fui transferida para a Paróquia de St. Ann’s, em Abbotsford, onde continuarei o meu serviço pastoral ao longo da minha missão.
Aproveito esta oportunidade para expressar a minha mais sincera gratidão a toda a comunidade, a todos os grupos e a todas as pessoas que caminharam ao meu lado e colaboraram comigo durante o tempo que passei nesta Comunidade Portuguesa. Levo comigo a amizade, o amor, a aprendizagem e as experiências que partilhámos.
