Father Antonio Tapparello officially announced his retirement on February 28, 2025, to take effect on March 6, 2025, as a Pastor in Residence from Our Lady of Fatima, Portuguese Parish in Vancouver. He has been in residence with the parish since August 2021.
He left us with his official announcement:
“I’ll retire at St. Charles Residence, Sun Valley, CA, effective March 6, 2025. St. Charles Residence is a house for the retirement of the Scalabrinians of St. John Baptist Province. I asked the Provincial Superior to retire from the Pastoral Ministry, and three months ago he asked me to move to Sun Valley. I’m grateful to the communities I was sent to serve in these 50 years of Priesthood. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Thanks to the Priest's companions in the Ministry. May God bless you!” ~ Father Antonio Tapparello, C.S.

Upon achieving his remarkable milestone of 50 Years of Priesthood, celebrated on November 9, 2024, with many of his beloved communities and connections attending from present and past, we wish Fr. Antonio abundant blessings and good health throughout his golden years. We thank him for his guided services in faith to our families, his compassion, kindness, and sincerity in his missionary work as a Scalabrinian Father through the graces of Our Lord Jesus.
May God bless you!
